WYOMING GOVERNMENT INVESTMENT FUNDThe Wyoming Government Investment Fund (WGIF) is a comprehensive cash management program available to Wyoming public entities. WGIF provides a full range of programs to meet participants' needs. Liquid Asset Series: A professionally managed money market series which enables participants to pool their short-term funds for a common investment at high money market rate potentials while remaining completely liquid. Fixed-Rate/Fixed-Term Series: This series provides an instrument for longer term investments. The public entity selects the term which meets it's needs and an individual rate is provided. The fixed-rate/fixed-term series works more like a traditional investment program where the entity sets it's own term. Fixed-Rate/Fixed-Term Pools: The fixed-rate/fixed-term pool provides fixed term investment in which participants pool their funds for a better rate of return. The pools are established for a set term and participants are invited to participate in the pool. Pools are designed to accommodate large distributions of state aid payments and tax payments to provide optional investment opportunities for those funds. The fund employs a team of professionals to manage the investments and marketing of the WGIF. The Wyoming Government Investment Fund is a professionally managed investment program that provides the following features.
